Covid at The Bridge
In accordance with government guidelines, we have put in place a number of safety measures to keep both our customers and staff safe following the relaxation of the lockdown rules. Please read our risk assessment that details the measures we have put in place including a one way system, table service only and our cleaning procedures.
If you have any questions please feel free to contact us.
We are back on July 4th!
As I’m sure many of you are aware, the government recently announced guidelines on the reopening of pubs and restaurants around the country. We cannot wait to open our doors to all of our lovely customers however we just want to make you aware of a few of the changes we are putting in place to keep our customers and staff safe.
In accordance with government guidelines we will be enacting social social distancing measures resulting in a limited number of tables throughout the Bridge. For bookings of over four people we will now require card details to secure the table. No charge will be made if your party arrive for the booking or decide to cancel, however if you are a no show you will be charged £5 per head. We also will no longer hold tables for longer than 15 minutes past your arrival time as we expect there to be a larger than normal demand for tables and we want to serve as many of you as we can.
Upon your arrival we also ask that you wait at the door to be seated by a member of staff. Unfortunately there will be no service at the bar, and instead both drinks and food will be ordered via table service. We will also be aiding the government with their test and trace scheme so upon your arrival we will require the name and contact details of at least one member of your party.
In order to keep our staff safe there will be fewer chefs in our kitchen at any one time and as a result we will be reducing our menu temporarily to ensure your food comes to you quickly and tasty!
One last thing! For the first few weeks we will be opening at the reduced hours of 12-10pm daily, just so we have enough time to deep clean everything ready for the next day of trade.
For more details on how we’re keeping our customers and staff safe please visit the COVID tab on our website, where you will be able to find a full risk assessment.
We can’t wait to have you back through our doors enjoying a deliciously frosty pint!
